      deleted extraneous equal sign;

Remove debugging info, and adjust tolerance of answer checking to be the
maximum of a reasonable tolerance, and what it would take to insure both
the expected answer and the optimal answer are accepted.

Removed extraneous randomization, adjusted randomization so that the answer fits the requirement of |x|<1 for the last part, adjusted answer checking so that both the expected estimate and the correct answer are accepted as correct.
