I am at a conference now, so limited in how much I can do for the next few
days.  I did try this on a my current copy which is the develop branch and
cannot reproduce the bug.  I also tried on release/2.7.

Just to be sure I am testing the right thing, I added my login to

$pg{specialPGEnvironmentVars}{PRINT_FILE_NAMES_FOR} = [ "professor", "jj" ];

I also have it set so that file names are printed for all "professors".  With
that, I don't see it (but I do see file paths when I look at a problem page).

I think we ran into this in Raleigh, determined that it happened only if your
login name was gage, and fixed that.  It had been an artifact of information
hardwired into the webservice code.

Could you check to see if you see the bug when you are logged in with a
username not equal to gage?
