This is some weird bug/feature of dateTimePicker. I think we'll have to live
with it for now.
If you do the following: click in answer date, then click in due date, then
click in
open date and make adjustments. The date and time will persist in all of the
blanks now.
My experience is that you can continue to adjust times and dates and things
will persist.
Apparently you have to "initialize" each blank by clicking in it before you
make any timeDate
adjustments.
Fixing this will take some time (at least for me). It's all javaScript
behavior. It may be worth waiting for the new UI in webwork3.0 that Peter
Staab is working on. The dateTime picker in Homeworksets was something added
by Grant He about a year ago to respond to requests for choosing dates and time
from a calendar. It's features are limited.
The current behavior might be informative for those building the UI for WW3.0
(perhaps as something to avoid :-) )
