I found two confusing error messages when demonstrating this problem in front
of my class.

1.
The correct vertical asymptotes are x=3 and x = -1/4.
I entered an incorrect answer for one of them, entering:
  x=3,x=-4
and got the error message "Your second implicit plane is incorrect."
The students were confused about what an implicit plane was.
Could the error message be changed to be something more helpful, as in "Your
second asymptote is incorrect."

2.
Then, entered the correct answer:
   x=3,x=-1/4
The message that appeared was "This answer is equivalent to the one you just
submitted."
The students were even more confused as to why WeBWorK was saying that the
first incorrect set of answers was equivalent to the second correct set of
answers.
Can this message be suppressed or changed to something more helpful?
