Hello,

I have assigned this question to my students as part of a homework set; many of
them had some difficulties with it.  In some instances correct working was
marking as wrong; in at least one instance the row indices were not rendered. 
My students use a mass of different browsers and systems: Windows, Windows
Mobile, iOS, OSX, Android.   I myself use Linux, and the version of WeBWorK I
use is 2.11 which I run off my own VPS under Ubuntu Server 14.10.

I've had a brief glance over the code, but my understanding of MathObjects is
still limited.  Anyway, it may be a good idea to check this question over!
