People differ on whether infinite limits should be considered values for the
limit, or if it should be treated as does not exist.  You are on one side, but
there are enough who see it differently that I am not going to change this.  I
think the wording, by saying what to do if the limit does not exist but not
saying what to do for an infinite limit, makes it sufficiently clear what to
do.
