This problem includes a diagram, a static image using the file
APEX_4.2_6_fig1.jpg

The presence of the period in the file name prevents the pdflatex compiler from
generating a hard copy, since it parses the file extension as .2_6_fig1.jpg
instead of .jpg, and the compiler exits with an unknown file extension error.

The image file should be renamed to remove the period.
