In fact, if you go to https://github.com/openwebwork/pg you can select: “watching” as a Notification option for issues and pull requests.  (and the same for https://github.com/openwebwork/webwork2 )  There are often many interesting discussion going on in github and I’d recommend “watching” these.   It’s a better place for discussions in a specific context (an issue or a pull request) than on the general webwork-develop mailing list.
