Webwork Problem Difficulty Rubrics

The items below are placed here as a starting point for discussion. For a given problem, determine a "hardness level" for each item.

Conceptual Rubric

  • Long
  • Very abstract
  • Non-numerical answer
  • Major steps involved in setup
  • etc.

Computational Rubric

  • Non-trivial answers - such as hard: sqrt(97)-log10(14)/e^(13) vs easy: 3
  • Three or more steps required
  • etc.
