The $BR aren't ignored, they are removed!  They are in the original HTML page,
but if you inspect the DOM after the page loads, the BR's are entirely removed.
 That means some javascript is running that is removing them.  I don't know
where that is coming from, but I don't think it is in the parserRadioButtons.pl
file.  I don't know bootstrap or jQuery enough to know what they might be
doing, but it sure looks like there is something removing the BR's from the
DOM.  Anyone have any ideas where that might be?
