Beginning Algebra

This is material suitable for a first-time elementary algebra course. It is typically offered as a developmental mathematics course in colleges. (It may be offered under various titles such as Introduction to Algebra or Elementary Algebra.) At some community colleges, the two developmental math courses Beginning Algebra and Higher Algebra (also called Intermediate Algebra) are prerequisites for College Algebra.
