Joy Morris obtained her PhD in algebraic graph theory from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada, in 2000. Since that time, she has been teaching at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada, where she has attained the rank of Professor. While she always had some interest in WebWork, she generally teaches proof-based courses in which it is less obvious how to use these systems. The pandemic led her to investigate the system more closely.
