Erell Germia, is an Assistant Professor in the Hennings College of Science, Mathematics, and Technology at Kean University in New Jersey. She received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics Education from Montclair State University. Erell’s research interests include studying how to support students’ learning of geometry and algebra; quantitative reasoning; and utilizing technology to elicit deep mathematical understanding. As a teacher-researcher, Erell is actively looking for better ways to teach mathematics while utilizing the dynamic features of computer technology and sharing these ideas with mathematics teachers.
