It seems like most of the upgrade instructions are setting up the prerequisites for 2.16 or modifying customizations after the upgrade. Shouldn't there be a step involving getting the latest version from git?

This is now an [https://github.com/openwebwork/webwork2/issues/1393 issue on GitHub]. One thing to note that I had not realized is that 2.16 is still a release candidate, and has not yet been merged into master.

libjson-maybexs-perl[edit]

I also had to install libjson-maybexs-perl on Ubuntu. Should this be added to release notes?

This is now an issue on GitHub. One thing to note that I had not realized is that 2.16 is still a release candidate, and has not yet been merged into master.
