Does anyone have information regarding the modperl version of webwork (issues to look out for, how to install, etc...)? I guess Bill Wheeler is the one who has done a lot of the experimental work on this, but I didn't get a response from him.

I also am anxiously awaiting the mod_perl version. Talking to Bill Wheeler about it, there are major modifications to the code structure needed for mod_perl to work. In particular, problems with initializing variables (since only one instance of perl is running instead of every login getting their own instance) and with errant threads that occasionally bring down the server. We talked enough about it to convince me to hold off on reinventing the wheel, and wait for him to release it.
