The JJ_ans-eval macros is not included in Webwork 1.9, even though they apparently came with webwork 1.8 and 1.7. Is there a reason for this, or is it an oversight? Many of the asu_problemlib resources doesn't work without these macros.

That file was renamed extraAnswerEvaluators.pl when it became an official part of WeBWorK. Ideally, the problems would be updated. Otherwise, in the courseScripts directory, you can do

  ln -s extraAnswerEvaluators.pl JJ_ans-eval

(or whatever the old name was - there were several).
