Hello,

I have started apache with server_info, and made sure that mod_perl is loaded. check_modules.pl runs, finding nothing missing. Yet when I put the Include /opt/webwork2/conf/webwork.apache-config line at the bottom of my httpd.conf, I get the following error:

Syntax error on line 26 of /opt/webwork2/conf/webwork.apache-config: Invalid command '<Perl>', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

I am running apache 1.3.33 and mod_perl 1.29.

Thanks, Mark

Here's a reference that may help.

http://perl.apache.org/docs/1.0/api/Apache/PerlSections.html

You might want to put a short dummy <perl> section in your standard http.conf file first and make sure that your setup of apache and mod_perl will actually allow perl sections.

Thank Michael, mod_perl was not compiled correctly. Now moving onto loading in problem sets.

Great. let us know how this works out. If you have a recommendation for testing mod_perl and/or getting it compiled correctly send it to this bulletin board.

Thanks,
