Onllne homework and WeBWorK in particular has proven to be an effective tool in helping students learn Calculus and Precalculus mathematics. Many instructors are interested in trying WeBWorK but would like some help in getting started.
For the WeBWorK Consultant Training Sessions, we are recruiting public-spirited instructors who have experience with WeBWorK and who would be interested in helping other mathematics instructors get started with the WeBWorK online homework system.
There are a few openings left in the WeBWorK Consultant Training Sessions that will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2011 in Boston the day before the Joint Mathematics Meetings. The one-day session will provide participants with the knowledge and resources necessary to conduct regional WeBWorK Outreach Workshops.
For further information and/or to apply for one of the openings, follow this link.
