I have inherited an installation of WW and Ubuntu (I believe 2.7/12.04 LTS) and I
would like some advice on managing updates to Ubuntu.
Here is what I wish to avoid: pulling in important security updates that break something and cannot be easily rolled-back. If the server were installed on top of lvm, I would be comfortable trying snapshots, but it has been installed in one partition on the hdd.
Thoughts/advice welcome.
