Prof. Zbigniew Fiedorwicz of Ohio State University sent us a link to this story about WeBWorK's use at Little Miami High School. The story appears in the Cinncinati Enquirer.
Ohio State University hosts the course for the Little Miami and several
other high schools in Ohio. The University of Rochester also hosts
WeBWorK courses for small or medium size classes in high schools and
for teachers at universities and colleges who wish to try out WeBWorK
on a small scale.
Prof. Fiedorwicz also sent several new links for the WeBWorK Community page listing educational sites using WeBWorK. Thanks, Zig.
If you have new sites to list, or if some of our information needs updating, please let me know (gage@math.rochester.edu).
It would also be nice if those using the list could take a moment to update their profiles from the preferences page. There is quite an active community growing up around WeBWorK, some of it evident on the discussion
pages of this site. It will be even more fun if we know something about
who we are talking to. :-) (You can link the profile to your homepage,
so you don't have to write much.)
For those who would like e-mail notification about discussion topics go to http://hilbert.dartmouth.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/webwork-user
to sign up.
This service is hosted at Dartmouth College by Prof. Tom Shemanske.
Postings are sent out
at most every hour, and there is not that much e-mail traffic, but it
can alert you to activity on
the WeBWorK discussion site. Please reply to postings on the discussion
site, so that we can keep a record of questions, answers and comments
for future use.
