Hi, I get this error when trying to get a hardcopy of in PDF form:

Software error pdf generation failed. at /usr/local/webwork/system/cgi/cgi-scripts/welcomeAction.pl line 684. main::prepareHardcopy called at /usr/local/webwork/system/cgi/cgi-scripts/welcomeAction.pl line 369 main::downloadAllSets called at /usr/local/webwork/system/cgi/cgi-scripts/welcomeAction.pl line 150

Please inform the webwork meister.

In addition to the error message above the following warnings were detected:

I had similar problems with a new Slackware Linux distribution. I ended up removing the ghostscript package, and reinstalling from source (with all the prerequisites). The only problems after that seemed to be because I also forgot to install the fonts for Ghostscript..., now things seem to be working ok. -Mike Gallis
