I can do that, (setting the set date several years in advance) but knowing myself, when the due date comes up, I'll forget to reset it. I would rather have a "set it and forget it mode", since this course will be in place for several years.
That's why I asked if there was a way to just have the set open. The way you suggested, while not perfect, will certainly work. I just hoped there was an easier way.
