To free up some disk space, and in preparation of a full backup, I ran Remove Unnecessary Tmp Files on all my courses this morning.  I noticed that it did not do anything with all the png files generated with typeset2.

I tried adding a CleanUpDirectory call in profRemoveTmpFiles.pg, but that didn't seem to help.

Before I work on any more code, I thougth I'd check if anyone has already written code to remove those files.

Hi Mark,

The png and l2h files are not considered "Unnecessary Tmp Files" and (as you discovered) are not removed by the Remove Unnecessary Tmp Files.  This is something you probably should run every few weeks along with "Compress database".

If you are cleaning up things to reuse a course, there are a things that should be removed.  See instructions for reusing a webwork co...
