I just created a new course and when I try to access it via the web browser, I get:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /webwork/democourse on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I know it has to be a rights or a link issue, but I can't seem to find the problem.

It might also be a mismatch between the url and the file location.

It might be an incorrect address in the config files that is inconsistent with the way the directories are set up?

Are you using WW2.0 or WW1.9? (in the first case configuration is in config/global.conf in the second case webworkCourse.ph. )

It seems unlikely that deomcourse is at /webwork/democourse. More likely it's at /webwork/courses/democourse.
