Which type of graphichs is best to use in webwork problems. I need to include a small drawing, and could include it as an eps, a gif or a png. Which type is best handled by webwork? Will it work both on the hardcopy and on the web?

Lars.

Hi Lars,

I don't think ww will convert an eps to a graphic suitable for a web page, but I am not sure on that.  I think gif and png will work similarly.  Between the two I know some people are png advocates (I don't know of any real gif advocates).  I don't know if it is for functional reasons or because it is free of patent restrictions.  For these fairly weak reasons, we try make our graphics as png when we put graphics in new problems.

John
