In the indicated problem I believe line #52:

$b*$c/$b1-$e*$d/$e1;

should read:

-$b*$c/$b1+$e*$d/$e1;

Would it be better to report errors in problems somewhere else?

The term is in the denominator, so I think the problem is correct as is.
