I've enhanced the access to the collections of WeBWorK problems which have been
stored on our server. The link for all of the libraries currently available from us
is at http://webhost.math.rochester.edu/webworkdocs/ww/problemLibrary .
In order to view these collections you need to be a member. If you have
a password you can login which will set a membership cookie on your machine. If you need to obtain a password you can sign up for membership. It is free but requires a valid email address.
Each problem can be tried out from the web page.
The source for each problem is also available which provides some help
for those learning how to write WeBWorK problems. Not every problem
deserves to be emulated! Browse through a couple of examples as you
develop your style and taste. Finally it is possible
to obtain a pdf representation of any collection of problems in one set
(or use the button at the bottom of the page to obtain a pdf file of
all of the problems). In addition you can obtain TeX versions of the
problems.
There is substantial duplication among various libraries and not every
problem is a gem, but the first step is to make as much of the current
body of extant problems available as possible, then we'll figure out
how best to edit, collate and classify the problems.
There are some physics problems
although the hard copy version is missing the pictures which are
currently in .eps files instead in .pdf files. There are also some neat
3dimensional examples from Davide Cervone using the LiveGraph3d applet Posted by Michael Gage on 6/13/05; 5:00:28 PM from the dept.
