For some reason, we've just noticed that regardless of whether $showPartialCorrectAnswers is set to 0 or 1 in a problem, Webwork tells the students whether each of their answers is correct or not, which is a problem for multiple true/false, multiple choice questions.

Any suggestions on what might be going on? We're running the last development verison of Webwork before 2.1.3.

Thanks, Tom

Hi,

I suspect you are looking at a problem set as an instructor using the Check Answers button. In all cases, the Check Answers button will show which parts are right. But, students only get that button after the due date. If a set is open and you (or a student) use the submit answers button, then the value of $showPartialCorrectAnswers should be respected.

John

Hi John,

That's it. We were looking at a problem set as a *student* but since we were doing development, we weren't concerned with the due dates of the problem sets. So all our due dates had passed and so we could see the "Check Answers" button, even as a student.

Thanks!

Tom
