We will be hosting a session on WeBWorK at the summer MathFest which
will take place this year in Knoxville, TN from August 10 to August 12,
2006. (see http://www.maa.org/mathfest/ for details as they are finalized).
Our session will take place Saturday afternoon, August 12. We will
present a brief introduction, but we hope to concentrate on WeBWorK
problems: new macro files that increase the ease with which problems
are written, WeBWorK problems in courses other than calculus, novel
problems or novel uses of WeBWorK problems in instruction, additional
software, particularly macro files, that would improve instruction
using WeBWorK. Several speakers will take part in the presentations.
We expect to have our semi-annual WeBWorK Happy Hour and dinner on
Friday evening. Keep an eye out at the meeting for the location and
exact time.
