I'm almost there... but in trying to install Module::Build from CPAN, it results in: Can't locate the perl binary used to run this script in (/usr/bin /usr/bin /usr/bin /usr/local/webwork/system/scripts /usr/kerberos/sbin /usr/kerberos/bin /usr/local/sbin /usr/local/bin /sbin /bin /usr/sbin /usr/bin /usr/X11R6/bin /root/bin)

[root@webwork bin]# whereis perl perl: /usr/bin/perl /usr/share/man/man1/perl.1.gz

perl-5.8.0-88.4

ideas? It's there and meets requirements Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan,

Google is your friend. A search for the subject of your post yields a likely solution:

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much. The unset LANG did the trick. I spent awhile searching to no avail. I guess my searching technique was too specific.

Thanks, Dan
