I am now seeing a problem that I am not sure how to debug. The professor adds hints to their problems, and the student can view them without a problem. However, when the student generates the hard copy, they cannot view the hints.

I am using Webwork 2.3. Anyone have any ideas where to start?

I can duplicate this bug. The problem is either in Hardcopy.pm where the check boxes for printing hints and solutions occurs -- or with the interaction of Hardcopy.pm and the PG language. The HINTS macros defined PGbasicmacros.pl only print the hint section after a certain number of incorrect answers have been entered -- so the hardcopy version would have to intervene to force the hints section to print even if there are no incorrect answers. This feature has not been used that much, so it doesn't surprise me that there are still bugs.

I've submitted a bug report.
