(among others) has a broken link to a page that, in the context of my course, gets expressed as:
webwork.math.umass.edu/webwork2_course_files/MATH_331_2_F09/phaseplaneplotters/index.html
I found no such file, so within my course directory MATH_331_2_F09 I created a subdirectory phaseplaneplotters and then uploaded an index.html file that I wrote. It's just a basic html page that has links to JODE. Before uploading to my course via the File Manager, I can view the html page in a browser just fine. It has a standard header:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">But when I try the question with the link, the link is still dead.
Our local WeBWorK admin tells me he sees the webwork2_course_files variable in the global.conf but does not know how it gets resolved.
Is there some problem with the entire path or file permissions, or what?
