What other metadata would be useful for OPL problems?

What other metadata would be useful for OPL problems?

We plan to add additional metadata to problems in the new OPL. At the moment we are considering the following:
  • language (e.g. english, spanish,...)
  • does the problem have a solution
  • does the problem use randomization
  • does the problem use MathObjects
  • what other resources does the problem employ (flash, applets, html5, ...)

I think that the metadata is important but probably not enough. It is very
difficult the tag a problem well. The ability to search in the text of the problem would be very helpful.

Hi Nandor - agreed about search. It's in the works.

By 'difficult to tag a problem' do you mean that finding suitable tags is difficult, or that the mechanism to add the tags is lacking?

If the former, could you elaborate?

Finding suitable tags is a lot of work. Especially when someone tags dozens
of pg files written by others a long time ago. Perhaps this is the reason it
is so hard to find a problem with the search feature even if I know for a
fact that a certain problem exists. This is why I think full text search is more
useful than keywords search.
