A student of mine was administratively dropped at one point, so I changed his status in WeBWorK to Drop. Then his drop was undone, so I changed his status back to Enrolled.
Now he does not get any Submit Answer buttons for the new sets (but he does see the check answer button for old sets -- sets he did before he temporarily dropped).
How fix? (URGENT!)
Two things to double check.
(1) Make sure that the open and due dates are correct for this student.
(2) Make sure that his status is "student" and not "guest" on the classeditor page. He may have been reinstated but his permission level was set to guest rather than to student.
Let us know if this doesn't fix it and we'll try to think of other possible causes.

Indeed, I just saw, when I changed the student back from Drop to Enrolled, WeBWorK automatically reset his status to "guest". I just changed that status back to "student".
I hope that fixes things, but since what I see acting as the student isn't the same thing as what the student sees when he logs in directly, I'll have to await his trying the sets again now.
