When importing set definition files, the hmwk sets editor only allows me to use files that are in the templates folder. Is there a way to broaden the search path for these files? As best as I can tell, the mechanism that lists available .def files is hard-coded to look only in templates.
I would like to store write-protected versions of model course set definition files on the server and use a symbolic link in the templates folder to point to them. I have a few reasons for wanting this. One is that as terms go by, instructors want their courses cloned from their previous courses, and so it's not enough to update the contents of the model course's templates folder.
I've submitted a pull request that should make it possible to do what I want to do.
