We do a number of in-class assessments using WeBWorK, and we have a custom built system which blocks other websites and programs while students are completing their quizzes. We are currently investigating whether we should maintain our existing system, or look for something different. Does anyone use/know of anything that does this?
Hi Danny,
We do this, but in a proctored lab environment. There, students are using the computers that are in the lab, and we set the firewall on those computers so that they are unable to access any site other than our DNS servers, login servers, 2-factor auth servers, and the WeBWorK server.
In an environment where students are using their own devices this is obviously much harder.

We have been using respondus lock down browser with brightspace for our loncapa based midterm exams the past few years. The same might work with
webwork.
