Need clarification about how to add the Contrib button

Hi,

I have read the documentation about adding the Contrib button to the Library Browser at http://webwork.maa.org/wiki/Open_Problem_Library#Browsing_the_OPL

How does one access the command line? I am assuming this is the command line on the server where WeBWorK is housed and not the command line on my PC. Our department doesn't have direct access to the server. Is there a way to do this from my PC without having to put a work order in to ITS to do this?
Does this have to be done for each course that wants to have the Contrib button? Is there a way to do this so that all the courses at my institution will have the button?

Hi,

Look at http://webwork.maa.org/wiki/Installation_Manual_for_2.13_on_Ubuntu_16.04#Set_up_the_access_to_the_Contrib_directory

You do need access to the server. As noted you can set this up so that all new courses will have a Contrib button but you have to do it individually for all existing courses.
