"Email instructor" while acting as a student -- send student's data instead

I didn't see this issue mentioned anywhere in the forums, but it could have been where I didn't look.

If you act as a student and then click on the "Email instructor" button, then the data that gets sent to you is your data, not the student's. This should be fixed.

This came up when a student in another class (with another instructor) got an error message about a problem I had written. I wanted to know what the random seed was, and when I emailed the instructor, I almost said "Act as that student, navigate to the problem in question, and click on the 'Email Instructor' button."

Fortunately, I tested this before I sent that email. I would have gotten the instructor's random seed, which would (probably) have done me no good.

You should be able to get the student's seed by "acting as the student" and then clicking the "edit" link. The seed shown in the "Using what seed?" field, while acting as this student, should be the seed you are looking for.
