### Is math display turned on in the WeBWorK wiki?

I was looking at the page https://webwork.maa.org/wiki/Mathematical_notation_recognized_by_WeBWorK in the WeBWorK wiki and I noticed a number of unrendered $...$ constructs.  Perhaps math rendering is not turned on in the WeBWorK wiki since the reinstall?

Most likely we missed a mediawiki extension.  Mike, do you know what extension this is?  I suspect it may be https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Math.

Do we want Extension:Math or Extension:SimpleMathJax? https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SimpleMathJax

I'm leaning toward the MathJax version unless you see something wrong with it.

I think I would lean toward a MathJax extension also.

I've installed Extension:SimpleMathJax   -- that seems to have fixed the immediate problem.

I have not enabled \$ and \\( as delimiters for mathjax. For sysadmins: that can be done in mediawiki_new/ LocalSettings.php . By default it uses CDN.
