Does anyone have a ww problem set the uses the complex exp to compute integrals of real valued functions like \int \cos(5x)^2 dx using \frac{exp(i5x)+exp(-i5x)}{2} for the \cos(5x)?

In our Electrical Engineering Webwork library, we use Euler's formula to compute Fourier series and solve differential equations.  These are the result of integral equations, but the integral is not the object of the solution.  The problems are in
