Problem downloading with cvs

I am installing on Fedora 10. Everything is find until I try to download using cvs. I am using the following commands from the installation manual:

$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.webwork.rochester.edu:/webwork/cvs/system checkout -r rel-2-4-patches webwork2 pg
$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.webwork.rochester.edu:/webwork/cvs/npl checkout NationalProblemLibrary
It sits for a long time and comes back with:

cvs [checkout aborted]: reading from server: Connection timed out

Thanks in advance,

Steve

I had similar problems. In my case it turned out to be the department firewall blocking the connection. Is there a firewall between you and the world?

Thanks, I'll do some checking. You don't think that the firewall built into fedora would block it do you?

Thanks,
