I've insert a screen shot we are getting of an error that sometimes occurs when using the manual grader to grade essay questions. We are using WW 2.17. Any help greatly appreciated!
That usually occurs because your session has timed out. You will need to log in again to continue.
The message for that has been improved for 2.18.
When I've gotten this error, I've been able to navigate to the next student through the manual grader interface, and mark their essay question (saving the feedback and mark), without getting any error.
Then you are having some other communication error with the server. Do you also get these errors with the library browser? I don't know your setup so I am not sure how to help you. Do you have a proxy or load balancer or something that could complicate matters?
I've never gotten this error while using the library browser.
We are running Webwork 2.17. IT is running Webwork on a server for my department -- I'll check with them regarding your other question (proxy or load balancer).

When the error occurs do you see any messages in your browser's console?
