Understood, thanks for the info. Though I'm still left with the version issue. Until our tech admin updates us to the latest version of webwork (which I'm guessing is this summer at the earliest), I'm stuck in limbo. I will try runestone mentioned below. If there was a website where we could use the problem editor without the need for an actual webwork course, that might be useful. I imagine it would be similar to online compilers/interpreters for other languages (such as https://www.online-python.com/). Not sure what the demand would be, but I would find it useful as our tech admins are fairly busy. We don't yet have a firm commitment on if/when updates will happen.
