 I am an associate professor at West Texas A&M University.  I studied mathematics at North Carolina State University and did a postdoctoral fellowship at Colorado State University.  My main area of research is in a posteriori error estimation for partial differential equations, however I also study numerical methods and software development for numerical algebraic geometry.  I teach Calculus and Numerical Analysis mostly to undergraduates.  I am a member of the Mathematical Association of America and the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics.  I enjoy hiking, reading and baking cookies in my spare time.
