I am originally from Long Island, NY but have lived in South Florida for over 30 years. I have a BS in Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University in NY, a Master of Urban Affairs from Boston Umiversity, and a MST in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University. After undergraduate school I worked for several years for a large research and development corporation outside of Boston, and then several years more in local government planning in South Florida. I began teaching math part time at a local community college when I started raising a family. Now I have been teaching for over thirty years, at all levels from high school to community college to university; I have taught math courses ranging from algebra and geometry, to statistics, to finite and discrete math and graph theory. I currently teach at a public magnet high school in Palm Beach County, and for three online universities. I live with my husband and our four pound Yorkie, in Palm Beach County. I have three daughters, two sons-in-law, a 7 month old grandson, and a granddaughter who is due to arrive any day!
