We upgraded from version 1.7 to 1.9 this semester and we seem to have the following issue. Problems that draw 2-D graphs display fine, but create an error when we run the get hard copy script - pdf or ps for example. We run RedHat 7.3, are there any specifics for the png2eps set up?

Hi Yavor,

This might be related to the nosetpage problem. See e.g. http://webhost.math.rochester.edu/webworkdocs/discuss/msgReader$1365#1366

In this regard, WeBWorK 1.8 and 1.9 are the same.

Thank you, the suggestion to remove -nosetpage option seems to work. Could it mess-up the perl interpreter, though? We have a recurring problem for 4 day after making the change. Any perl routine that has to look at the problems fails, while login and database up-dates are fine. After a reboot of the machine the system was functioning without noticable problems for 48 hours before the same issue happened again.
