IP restriction seems to work fine when applied to a whole class, but not when applied to an individual... Has anyone had success with this?

I've certainly had a set with IP restrictions that I've then changed for individuals. What version of WeBWorK are you using?
And, to be sure I'm understanding your question, am I correct in thinking that you're editing a set for a student to add a restriction to or from a location (and that you have successfully added a restriction to or from that location for a whole set)?
