Is there a way to upload files (syllabus, class notes) to courses with the File Manager and then link to it in course_info.txt?

It seems to me that people only link to external files.

When I try linking to documents uploaded to the course, WeBWorK forces me to re-login and then complains that there is no valid problem set with the given file name.

You should use the FileManager to move the files into your course's html directory (when you start FileManager, you will be in the templates directory, so go to the parent directory and then the html directory). Then link to /webwork2_course_files/coursename/filename, where "coursename" is your course name, and "filename" is the name of the file you uploaded and want to link to. It is important that you use /webwork2_course_files rather than just /webwork2 for the URL.

Hope that takes care of it for you.

Davide,

Thank you very much. This is exactly what I was looking for.
