The email features of WebWork2-2.2.1 are not working for me. I get the above message when using the student Feedback button. It appears that I have set the correct things in global.conf. Any ideas what this might mean?

Thanks, Ted Cox

Sounds like WeBWorK couldn't connect to your SMTP server. Check the value of $mail{smtpServer} in global.conf.

If that's set correctly, investigate firewall configuration on your WeBWorK server as well as on the SMTP server. Another possibility is that SELinux might be interfering with Apache's ability to make outgoing network connections.
