I have an instructor who would like to be able to create multi-part problems so that (for example)
10 attempts are allowed on part a
5 attempts are allowed on part b
2 attempts are allowed on part c
1 attempt is allowed on part d.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this easily? A basic issue is that the number of attempts is generally governed by the homework set, not the problem,
Perhaps a better solution is to divide the homework problem into 4 problems, and have the homework set display them all on the same page. But I don't know how to get the homework set to display several problems on a page.
